I wasn't on board so I didn't witness how the cabin crew behaved, but I think there is a difference between being loud and authoratative, and screaming and appearing panicky. The first will get the aircraft evacuated quickly; the second could cause panic and chaos.

As I said, I wasn't on board. I'm not saying that the VS CC were panicky - just pointing out the difference.
