1) How often do you think you'll be able to enjoy Plat benefits between now and the end of 2013? It's not the same thing, but I've occasionally used MR to extend my gold status in years where I knew I had a fair bit of travel where Gold status was worth it (e.g., trips alone or with spouse where I knew I'd be able to enjoy a lounge).

2) How cheaply and conveniently could you get those 2 nights? For example, can you plan a nearby weekend getaway for less than $125 per night? And how does that cost and inconvenience compare to the benefits you can expect under (1) above?
