If you are trying Y, I presume you attempted to book a TATL on AF/KL. My suggestion would be:
(a) search the days you want on airfrance.us (even if it is a KL flight) in the lowest coach available, using the flexible dates option.
(b) airfrance.us will show you the potential flight combinations (outbound and return.
(c) once you select the dates pair, it would show you the flights. For flights that have PV it would show what the price would be if you move to PV.
IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO MOVE ONE-DIRECTION TO PV (so you do not have to move them both), and price it.
(d) Let's say you got the combination outbound A and return T. write it down.
(e) Now, the phone stage- call PM and ask them to price it in their system.

As far as I recall, indeed you cannot price W and T, but you should be able to price S and T (S moves to J class with SWU). A will price but is not upgradable anymore. On the other hand, row 14 is very good on PV
