Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the domestic slots get codeshared so BA1435 gets BD51 as well for example.
Would also save a lot of hassle with rebooking if the flight changes from operated by BD to a operated by BA with a BD codeshare.
Careful slot management would mean that instead of the 17 flights EDI to LHR each day you could do the same with 11 bigger planes with codeshares on them. Saves a lot of fuel, time, staff not running all those rotations.
Whilst BD say the summer timetable will operate personally I think only the flight numbers will run, chances are a lot of them will be operated by BA on codeshare with the normal BA service.
