I heard yesterday from LHR staff that the AOC for aircraft is being transferred as soon as mid-May, after which BD-operating flight numbers, callsign and branding are no longer required. You'd think it would be simpler to leave the branding in place until the timetable change (some routes having two parallel 'services' both under BA brand?) but BA seems to be in a real hurry.
