I personally find usage of terms like "Barbie Jet" despicable. This kind of "terminology" is insulting to the aircraft manufacturers who build these jets and the pilots who fly them. Sure, you may have to gate check a bag and it's not as easy to walk around inside the inside but people should give these aeroplanes the respect they deserve. They operate the same way as a full-size airliner but they're just built smaller for better economics on short/low-volume routes.

I'm not concerned about the plane being offended. They don't offer the same level of comfort as the average airliner. It's like being crammed into a jet sized for barbies.
Same as the other side being called Climb Restricted Jet (from the pilot/atc perspective due to their climb performance) or Devil's Chariot (from the pax perspective due to the undersized and underpadded seats).
