Calling MPO to get my guaranteed seats and seating assignment while I'm at it. The agent picked up right away (for DM with 3888 number) and after giving him my record number he said, "Sure, I just needed to go to the Console Desk, hold on a second please." He left, heard Robbie Williams for a good 5 minutes (literal), and then he came back: "ok, done. Anything else?" I asked, "So, what's this console desk, you can't do it at your computer station like in the past?" He said, "No, sorry, after the upgrade some tasks have moved to the console desk and we need to go there and do them." Sensing in his tone that he probably can't or unwilling to small talk, I said thank you and hung up.

The Console Desk huh.... What kind of upgrade is this when things are harder and more complicated than before???
