Good point makin'miles .....

Anyone dropping a significant amount of cash should not need status "if" it’s a smart hotel (or unless it’s a ridiculously low rate) and even better if you belong to their loyalty program. Truth is if you have to buy what you want, and can expense meals, no one needs status anymore unless the points have value to you.
