It's funny -- you could almost pick out any pair of shoes you wanted from the belt and claim they were yours. If you really wanted to have fun, you could ask them why the other pair of shoes in your carry-on were less of a threat than the ones on your feet.
Perhaps we can simply start putting our shoes INTO our carry-ons prior to entering the c/p and not waste any time on the Shoe Carnival at all.
