hello. I have a flight coming up on an old 747 (outbound) and then a new 747 (inbound) 747 in the UD. I will be traveling with my husband, a lap child and a 4 year old. I have done a 1-2-1 config before on a 777 on continental. I have never been on an upper deck before. I hear that it is very quiet and would be ideal with my children. Both my kids are very well behaived and usually sleep through the entire flight. I just am not sure how the 1-1 layout will work not sitting directly next to my 4 yr old. any suggestions?

also. i was hoping for several months now that our itinerary would change from the old plane to the new. Looks like my wishes were answered this morning when i recieved an email from delta with a change in itinerary. (it was only change in seats due to new plane reconfiguration.)

what are the chances my outbound flight will also change? its a jfk-tlv flight in May.
