If I posted this anywhere else in a existing thread it would be buried. So here is this mornings news for me from the UA 1k desk.

I am outbound for meetings and the AUS DO later this week. Noticed this morning R and RN seats were showing available in the fare bucket. Called and got a very good agent asked for CPU with R / RN seats showing. She said they have been told to check the OSI field if someone calls in saying R or RN was showing. Further stated I might not necessarily get the upgrade as GS may be in front of me. Ok. But to me they have not called in yet regarding the R / RN seats so here I am. Now I don't understand this all but I want to understand how to get my upgrade. With that she re-pillowed in my 1k number and the OSI field amended to show- Please extend all courtesies. She went back in to try and secure one of the R / RN seats. I was then upgraded CPU and given a seat in F.

Since it was early morning and she asked we went thru our existing reservations which have not already been confirmed with upgrade. All of them. Found our MEM trip did indeed not have proper wording in OSI field. She fixed that. Hope this was helpful. See you all in First.
