I'm just trying to figure out the logic behind the BA fuel surcharge amounts.
Here is a typical example of what I'm finding:

Trip one:
LAS-LHR-LIN First Class RT (LIN flight in Club Europe) Fuel surcharge = $806

Trip two (same dates/ same US-UK flights):
LAS-LHR First Class RT Fuel surcharge = $854

How can flying LESS incur a BIGGER fuel surcharge?

Anyone have the answer for me?
