I now have a 3-policy system here.

IAPA CarePlus (it has very generous baggage provisions especially under the EUR-denominated policy), Amex, and John Lewis Independent Traveller (thank you so much for pointing me in that direction - much appreciated!). I am hoping that they, in combination, provide me with a complete coverage. Interestingly enough, since I took out the JL policy, I have not had any reason to claim, which is HIGHLY unusual for me as I'm normally a disruption magnet. Maybe it brings peaceful travel experience too
