take the (nice) rapid transit in from the airport - which takes you to a block from the hotel - then rent the car - perhaps even daily. Or some mix. They've told me that picking up there and dropping at SEA incurs a drop charge.

Rapid transit is easy and probably quicker than my last airport shuttle van with all the stops/waits they made. I have rented from Avis also a couple blocks away, no SEA dropoff charge then (Spring 2011).
