I do wonder - AA allegedly saved $40,000 ~25 years ago when it eliminated one olive per passenger salad; NW claimed it saved $2M eliminating the pretzel bags.

For the trivia contest of all times, how much do you think AA saved by the extraordinary measure of eliminating napkin / serviette buttonholes for First Class meals service? (And does anyone wonder what kind of bonus the erstwhile employee will be awarded? The head of Gailen David on a platter? )
