I have the $99 companion fare coupon from Alaska Air credit card that I'm planning to give my son and his girl friend to use on their trip to Honolulu. Using the coupon, coach is $526/2 pp and First Class is $1230/2pp. My son wants to know if it's worth the difference in price to go with first class. Since I've never tried first class with Alaska Air, I'm not sure what to advise him. So the question is other than bigger seats, are other services/foods worth the price diff.? Please keep in mind, these are young people who could use the $ for other activities there. Thank you in advance for your help/advice.
