I'm sitting here in a hotel and I realized I don't know if I'm in a "good" room or not. I'm happy with my room, it's everything it was promised to be, but are there rooms that are considered to be better than mine in this room class?

So my question is within a hotel what rooms are usually considered the "good" rooms and why? For example do people usually consider higher floors to be better? corner rooms? what determines if you get a "good" room or not?
