Have you tried booking your daughter online and choosing "adult" instead of child? I have found even when you enter their DOB, etc., it will not pick up on the fact it is a booking for a child. As already stated in this thread, you have to book award tickets separately from paid; they can't be on the same PNR.

You can't do this. You must book the paid tickets on a separate PNR from the award tickets.
