If you're looking for *A upgrade award, you'd have to buy full-fare Y, which is very expensive. You'd be better off buying the US miles (100% bonus right now) and booking an award ticket if you can find availability. You can probably find Z (discounted C) for cheaper than Y/B fares. YYZ-LHR is packed up front IME, I wouldn't hold my breath for LMU.
