Has anyone had any experience in asking BA to just give credit for having taken a qualifying flight without giving the Avios/tier points? Any tales, woeful or otherwise, would be appreciated.
I think you'd need to have the actual flight credited to your account (ie. with associated Avios/TPs) for the flight to count as a flown sector/qualifying flight.
