I'm really hating TripIt right now. Twice in the past couple weeks the Amex app has suddenly had to "re-activate" it's connection with TripIt, thus losing all of my travel data. Both times it was on travel days when I really needed that info.

On top of that, TripIt sent me a gate change update while I was on a short international connection in JFK, and the update (via text, email and the app) HAD THE WRONG DANG TERMINAL! I ran probably 1.5 miles in total, and went through airport security twice for no reason, carrying about 40lbs of camera gear on my back. And this is right after I just paid my first annual subscription to TripIt!

I know that there are some suggestions here in this thread, but does anyone know what the best alternative is to TripIt Pro? I don't mind paying, I just want it to work (i.e., not send me to the wrong terminal, not suddenly become inoperative). Also, does anyone know if our travel plans are still available in the Amex app if you only have the free version of TripIt?
