Reviving this old thread. I noticed that the new "Powerpoints" reward on the BoA mastercard is actually worldpoint, which can still be redeemed into AP miles at a 1:1 ratio.

I confirmed this on their website - it's a bit tricky to navigate through the website to actually get to the AP redemption option, but it's available.
