Hi, if I degrade my PRG card to blue card, will my MR points still can be used to buy gift cards with the same value as PRG card? e.g. 10,000 points for $100 gift card, say at home depot? I understand that I can't do airline or hotel transfers.

Is it better to degrade to blue card than cancel the PRG card? Will blue card becomes a hard pull for my credit?
