Award ticket question (w/ japan stopover)
I already get two ANA award tickets for my parents w/

TPE -(NRT)- SFO - NRT stopover - TPE

I am confused if I could change them to

TPE -(NRT)- SFO -(NRT)- NGO stopover -(NRT)- TPE

Is it legal? If so, can I just add the NGO or do I have to cancel/rebook?
p.s. I am using *A award from UA! Not sure which airline rules (or *A rules) to follow ???
