Hi, I'm looking for some help planning flight options. I'm looking to fly business class from BKK to MIA (or really anywhere else in the U.S. as I can easily do a separate booking on another carrier into MIA) in October. I have several hundred thousand AMEX MR points and several hundred thousand BA avios points. Any suggestions on the best airlines/routing/method of booking? I'd like to minimize stops and travel time as much as possible. However, I wouldn't be opposed to staying a night in London or LA if necessary.

Another question: is a flight from JFK to HKG business class for 70k BA points plus $180 USD a good deal? Seems like a decent deal to me, but want to verify.
