We were there a year ago January, right before the regional upheaval started. I had read that review prior to our trip and elected to stay there anyway and was glad we did. I didn't experience any of the issues mentioned in that trip report. Was the service world class? No. Was the condition of the hotel flawless? No. But ultimately the service was fine, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the room was quite nice. I'm not disputing what the poster said in the other trip report, but it's only one data point. I think it's a way more interesting setting versus the Dead Sea resorts and would have no hesitation staying there again.
