Yes, why give away upgrades when they can sell them. I keep seeing pretty decent offers for upgrade to WT+ for the onward flight whenever I check in at MAN. As much as I need the tier points, I never bite because there's a thread elsewhere on this forum about the return them becoming much more restrictive .
