My woes with MCI began when I changed phone numbers. PacBell offered to advise MCI of the change but that's when the finger pointing started. My number was switched but my original plan was not. My average long-distance bill of $200 balloned to over $1000 in 2 months. Calls to several representatives heeded to conclusion. One offered to help me get a refund for what was clearly their mistake. But two days later my refund was rejected. When I called back , a representative even taunted me by saying that a rejection is a rejection, good luck in getting any money back.

I found that the day time staff of represtatives are miles better to deal with than the nighttime/weekend reps. I got my money back but that was last month.

I just received a bill for another $1200 because again MCI did not transfer all my calling plans I had on my old number.

So I'll just pay the bill and switch to Sprint.
