My S/O to be there, though due to work obligations his travel would be ORD-DCA on 4/26 and return on my same flight DCA-ORD on 4/29.
I have status, he doesn't, so is there a way I can combine our return legs under one itinerary to seat him in Economy Plus next to me, or am I going to take one for the team and sit in the back of the bus?
Unless this was previously possible and no longer is, I would appreciate general refraining from blaming Shares.
It was never possible to combine itineraries, but it used to be possible to call in and have one person moved up to sit next to you. However there have been many reports since the integration that you must be traveling on the same record in order for you to get anyone else into E+. A huge takeaway.
