I have an upcoming business trip in Baltimore and want to shoot down to DC the following weekend to visit friends in Georetown.

I intend to fly ORD-BWI on 4/23, hop on the MARC to DC on 4/26, and return DCA-ORD on 4/29.

My S/O to be there, though due to work obligations his travel would be ORD-DCA on 4/26 and return on my same flight DCA-ORD on 4/29.


I have status, he doesn't, so is there a way I can combine our return legs under one itinerary to seat him in Economy Plus next to me, or am I going to take one for the team and sit in the back of the bus?



Unless this was previously possible and no longer is, I would appreciate general refraining from blaming Shares.
