I was a MCI customer till yesterday when I took an AT&T $65 check to switch to them. The next day AT&T called me to ask if I wanted to switch (dummies) and MCI called me an hour later offering me the same plan for the same cost and paying the switching cost. I said why would I care about that. Then he said he would waive the annual fee for a year. I said well I'd like to give AT&T a try since I had so much trouble with MCI. He told me about the miles. I said I don't care anymore about the miles. He hung up saying "Enoy paying the monthly fee". Sheesh. Some people are so touchy!

In any case, my new rule of thumb is send me a check first, then I'll switch http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
