What I meant by 'harsh' was that I could only book a segement at a time online. I want to redeem my cert for a flight that involves a transfer, but am not sure if the free certificate was good for flights with a transfer of airplane (such as the trip I want - Seattle to LA, which I think goes through Phoenix).

I was not clear on this at all. I have a bad habit of assuming that since I have a thought in my head, that other folks automatically know what I am thinking.

I have not yet called Sun Country with my question, but it is on my list of things to do.
