Thanks for your comments Miles Man. I thought the 10-10 numbers were cheaper at one time too. Like make a 20 minute call for 99 cents (5 cents per minute). But what they don't tell you is that you have to talk the entire 20 minutes to get the equivalent of 5 cents per minute. If you happen to get an answering machine and leave a message and you complete the call within 30 seconds - guess what - you just paid 99 cents for that 30 second phone call.
Compare that with TTI National incremental billing (6 second increment billing) - the 30 second call to leave a message would cost 3 cents! (1/2 minute @ 5.9 cents per minute = 3 cents).
Even at your 5 cents per minute rate you can save money on incremental billing.
