To stop auto top-ups you go into your "account page", at the bottom there is a section called "Settings and extras" and the first line is "Payment settings". Click on "View details". The page that opens has a line marked "Status". Change it from Enabled to Disable. That would not stop a hacker doing the same again though if you leave your credit card on the system, to remove that you go two lines down to "Payment method", and click on the change button. then delete the credit card details.

That should solve it. I have put it in full here in case anybody is searching for the solution.
I forwarded your info to a biz colleague who I told about this, and he's now done the above.

I can't do it because my 'auto-credit has been suspended for a month due to hitting my monthly limits' , so it won't let me disable or remove the account #.

I'll need to contact live help again, but I need to get over to Chase to get that sorted. And I have an overseas client that needs 6 press releases finalized before we head to the trade show, so have to sort that too.

As mentioned, Murphy's Law always hits at the worst of timing on things.

Cheers.
