Booking room with HH point upgrade
Been AGES since I booked an HH reward, and things have changed!
Just got off the phone with HH desk, and seems like the agent was not the most knowledgeable, so asking here.
I want to book 5/22-26 at the Conrad Singapore, paying for room and using points to upgrade to Exec. Agent on phone said you need to book cash room, then hotel will email about upgrades. This sounds wrong.
On reservation page, they DO show premium and other rewards for virtually every room but I can't find upgrade 'prices' for properties. Alas, no longer Diamond or I wouldn't be worried.
Do I have to do this by phone? Was the agent right?
Any help appreciated!
