It happened to me once, somehow, someone was able to setup a skype manager and linked it to my account and make my account as the primary. I was online at the time and saw 2 email on skype charges. I was able to shut down my payment account on skype but the third charges went through. I got 3 - 25 euro charges on my account. As you've experienced, dealing with skype sucks but after some persistent email, they were able to reimburse me all of them. They still can't explain how someone was able to setup a skype manager, linked it to my account as the primary and use another account to defraud my account. While I still keep my skype account, I no longer store my financial information with them. I just use their free service and use my google voice to make any international phone call.
