Flew YVR-YWG:

1. Checked in online at T-24 and got 12A on an E90
2. Got an e-boarding pass and headed straight for security (no change)
3. Used priority security line with NEXUS (no change)
4. Went to the Plaza Premium lounge YVR and had a hot breakfast - free entry with my Amex (non-Aeroplan) Plat
5. Got to the gate as the last few people boarded and still had room in the bins for my backpack

Of course no upgrade, but even with status I never paid the $100 premium for Aerolotto. Guess there is life after status after all.
