The audacity of people to attempt this is beyond my comprehension. We have all wanted to "self-upgrade" on an international flight with some empty BE seats, but don't regardless of our opinion of Delta's policies to the same. Unfortunately, I think self-entitlement is on the rise and you would see more of this if it weren't for the very heavy F loads. I guess the thinking is "If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying..."
