What time does AA use to decide what meal to serve on a given flight? I'm sitting on 1806 from AUS to JFK, from 9:50 to 2:40, and they served breakfast. Rather than serving a meal right off the bat, why not start with just a drink, then serve lunch, which clearly makes more sense for that travel time?
