I'm trying to help my sister burn all her miles for a trip to North America, and wanted to check a few things before doing battle with the ICC.

She wants to do GLA - YYZ - SFO - GLA. After hours and hours on the ANA site, I've found the following:
GLA - PHL (US J); PHL - YYZ (AC J)
YYZ - SFO (AC J)
SFO - EWR (UA J); EWR - GLA (UA Y)

Am I right in thinking that the trip to YYZ counts as a stopover, so this should come in at the cost of a z1-3 J round trip?

Also, ANA wasn't coming up with any availability when I asked it for SFO - GLA, but is showing seats when I search for the two legs separately. ITA shows it as a valid connection (she's got 3 or so hours in EWR to prepare for the delights of a TATL in the cheap seats) - I presume that the call centre won't see any problems with that?
