One thing to bear in mind...... If you're lucky to get a Japanese cabin crew on a BA first flight (quite possible, I suspect) then you will get service that's a cut above what you can expect from European employees (at least that was my experience albeit with Virgin PE).
I had European crew to NRT but the purser and the lady who was assigned to me were both really lovely. Japanese and European styles of services are a bit different but both can be really excellent.
