If you are churning lots of Citi cards, you may want to have 1 or 2 long term Citi cards so they don't view you as only a churner. The Citi Forward is a reasonable quarterly 5% bonus category card.
Why would a card from another bank that can't be churned be more valuable to keep because it can't be churned? You could get rid of it and then get it again when you plan on using its feature set. You may not be getting bonus points/miles from the new one, but it could save you the annual fee.
