Maybe I'm being dense here, but what is the process to get an M&M account without having miles? The old suggestion (which is on the website as well), is to get a Jet Friends account which is for a child. I actually got that to work (which was odd since it is only for children and had to adjust my birth date), but the username and password still don't let me search. I get the same "requires a permanent account" message. I linked it to my existing M&M number (with no miles) and maybe that's why??

I also tried creating an account from scratch, but the login and password never worked on the M&M site and eventually got locked out

Can someone walk me thru the steps, or has something changed and this won't work anymore?
