Loss of COS bonus if ticket is upgraded?
Last night, I booked my husband a one-way LHR-LAX B-fare, which I was able to upgrade to business instantly for 20K extra miles. Prior to the upgrade, it said that the fare would earn 150% EQM, and after the upgrade was applied, it changed to 100%. Is this a glitch in the system, or does the COS bonus really go away if you upgrade the ticket?
