Thank you all for the replies.

That is one of the BEST things about Delta.. Diamond and Platinum fliers get hotels even when it's a weather cancellation. And that is the ONLY reason I've stayed with them till now. Living in NW Pennsylvania, there's a lot of weather issues in the winter travel, which is my busiest time.
