I am wondering if anyone has had this experience. I am trying to check-in online for our flight tomorrow from EWR to YYC. We have one bag each and are Star Alliance Silver. When I get to the baggage part of the online check-in, AC is looking for payment for the bags. According to the AC website, Star Alliance Silver are allowed one free bag between Canada and the US. Any idea how to get around this so we can check-in? We are A3 members. Thank you.
do you have your A3 frequent flyer number as part of your itinerary? if you recently qualified for status (before you booked this flight) you may have to remove the FF number and add it back again
PS if you're an AC E then you should be star gold and have even more checked baggage allowance
