Exactly. And further I don't see what's wrong with Delta criticizing a subsidy while also taking advantage of it the one time there might be a benefit to them. Millions of people think it's a bit odd to subsidize home ownership over renting by permitting interest deduction but they still take the deduction. Or thousands say it is silly to make me pay so much in "unemployment insurance" but if they get a chance to get some of those $ back, they take it. Saying the system is silly and I would like to see that piece of it scrapped issues not mean that they shouldn't do what is in their best interest while the politicians decide what they want to do this year. I suspect the OP works in DC..
