What surprised me is an area of gates numbered 201 to 219 called "West Gates" in the map insert, located way out west by 6R in the breakwaters of the Pacific Ocean. If these are remote stands it could be an even longer bus ride back to the main terminal area. Or are these stands for charters and such? Anyone know?
It's over past the T8 hangars that you identified - they have parking stands all along that area. The area toward the back (north) of that maintenance area is where we were parked.

Those 201-219 stands are generally used for TBIT overflow (so int'l departures and arrivals). You'll often see ANA, Air Tahiti Nui etc. parked at those boarding platforms. They're not hard stands, as such; just small jetbridge gate areas with passenger enclosures. I believe AA is/was using for them a bit during T4 construction. Hadn't heard that JetBlue was using them, that's a bummer for certain!
