That seems to happen here regularly. Msp hasnt participated in last minute specials for 2 weeks, yet weekend rates have dropped to the $16-$18 range for midsize. I actually prefer this, as being under 25, it's never financially viable to use the last minute special code.

It is probably for the better you cancelled. Thursday nights can be a barren wasteland at MSP even if rates are rock bottom, which would indicate a surplus of cars.
