This hotel kicks .... Avoid eating in the restaurants in the hotel and on the boardwalk close by - Most of them are crap. Also avoid Las Ramblas - It's a tawdry ripoff. Pick up a good restaurant guide or just walk uphill from the waterfront and you can't go wrong!

FYI - I usually fax a letter to the GM ahead of time kindly asking for an upgrade and I get an upgrade most of the time.
